While alcoholic beverages like beer and wine generally have lower alcohol content than Baijiu, gas detection remains essential — especially in fermentation, bottling, and storage stages.

1. Fermentation Stage

● Main Gases: Carbon Dioxide (CO₂), small amounts of ethanol

● Risks:

1) Fermentation (especially in sealed tanks) generates significant CO₂, which can accumulate to hazardous levels.

2) CO₂is odorless and colorless but can cause asphyxiation without warning.

● Gas Detection Applications:

1) COdetectors are standard in fermentation rooms to monitor gas concentrations in tanks and ambient air.

2) Advanced systems may integrate pressure sensors and gas analyzersfor comprehensive monitoring.

2. Bottling & Packaging

● Risks:

1) Potential gas leaks from COcylinders used for carbonation or poor sealing on filling lines.

2) Minor ethanol evaporation if the product contains alcohol.

3. Storage

2) Refrigerants used in cold storage (e.g., ammonia, fluorocarbons) may also pose toxicity or flammability risks.

● Gas Detection Applications:

1) Use multi-gas detectorsto monitor CO₂, ethanol, and refrigerants.

2) Automated warehouses should link gas detection with ventilation and access control systems.
