1) Avoid installing directly above stoves (high temperatures cause false alarms), near windows/fans (rapid gas dilution), or in humid areas (e.g., under sinks, where sensors may fail prematurely due to moisture).

● Multi-Device Integration: High-end systems can connect to smart home platforms (e.g., Xiaomi Mi Home, Huawei HiLink). Upon detecting a leak, they can send alarm notifications to mobile phones and trigger smart gas shut-off valves (requires compatible hardware).

● Avoid Interference: Do not spray insecticides, air fresheners, or place alcohol-based products near the detector (may trigger false alarms). Brief alarms during cooking (due to fumes) that resolve once odors dissipate are normal.

● Regular Replacement:

1) Battery-Powered Models: Replace batteries every 2–3 years(low battery triggers frequent beeping).

2) Sensor Lifespan: Catalytic combustion sensors last approximately 3–5 years; electrochemical sensors (for carbon monoxide) last about 2–3 years. Expired sensors should be replaced even if the device appears functional (sensor performance degrades over time).

● Troubleshooting: If the device frequently false alarms or fails to respond, immediately contact the manufacturer or a professional for repair—do not attempt to dismantle it yourself.
