Description
The FD2010 triple infrared flame detector is a kind of new-type intelligent fire detection equipment. This detector adopts the multi-infrared sensing technology (MIR), and is provided with three infrared sensors with different wavelengths and narrow-band filtering. One sensor is used to reflect the central wavelength of the flame information, and the other two are used to monitor other infrared radiation in the environment. Combined with the flicker characteristics of the flame, the radiation spectrum with flame characteristics can be identified as a fire alarm by means of the operational analysis with the high-speed microprocessor and technical algorithm. This detector can suppress the interferences such as sunlight, lightning, electric welding, thermal radiation, electromagnetic interference, mechanical vibration, etc., is provided with strong anti-interference capacity, and can quickly respond to and accurately identify the flame signal.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What is the maximum detection distance of the FD2010 flame detector?
The FD2010 triple infrared flame detector has a maximum detection distance of up to 50 meters for a 0.3m x 0.3m n-heptane flame.
How does this detector prevent false alarms?
It utilizes multi-infrared sensing technology (MIR) and advanced technical algorithms to suppress interferences like sunlight, lightning, electric welding, and thermal radiation. This ensures high stability and a strong ability to prevent false alarms.
How can I adjust the sensitivity of the detector?
The sensitivity can be adjusted across 4 different levels using a magnetic rod. This convenient operation mode does not require the removal of the detector cap.
Is the FD2010 suitable for hazardous industrial sites?
Yes, the detector features an explosion-proof design with an Ex d IIC T6 Gb / Ex tD A21 mark and an IP66 degree of protection, making it highly applicable for dangerous areas on various industrial sites.
What types of output signals are provided?
The device provides a 4~20mA current output, along with one fault relay contact and one alarm relay contact.
How do I know the operational status of the detector?
The status is indicated by LED lights. A blinking green LED means normal operation (the number of blinks every 3 seconds indicates the sensitivity level), while a blinking red LED indicates an active fire alarm.
